I wasted almost the entire day on this.
ethernet didn't work for either [XplorNet, Rogers] 
XplorNet left phone messages, which I didn't check until evening
Nothing from Rogers, but perhaps they fixed it faster (but wasn't all that fast either)

Problem was actually accessing [website, email], caused by lexicom.ca failure for 4-5 days
An avalanche cut a fibre optic cable outside of Vancouver.  Lexicom has to get another access provider and migrate all stuff.

I unplugged, waited ~20 seconds as blue light went off
replugged in -> wait for 2 minutes
