Conference Guides for [IEEE-CIS, INNS] conferences : Although this guide was initially set up for IJCNN2019, and was used for IEEE WCCI 2020, hopefully some of the basic information may still help [organising committee members, authors] up to 2023-2025 (assuming a half-life of links and process information of 3-5 years?). IEEE PDF eXpress Plus - check your [paper setup, formatting]

As per the "Required Publishing Tasks for Conference Publishers" document provided with IEEE PDF eXpress Plus registration, BEFORE authors run PDF eXpress Plus, make sure that they :

Add the IEEE copyright notice to your paper. Copyright notice can be found in Section IV ? Copyright Information in the Letter of Acquisition.
Instruct your authors to add the copyright notice to their papers before creating PDFs. Copyright notice can be found in Section IV ? Copyright Information in the Letter of Acquisition.
- For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is: U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright
- For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright notice is: 978-1-7281-1985-4/19/$31.00 ©2019 Crown
- For papers in which all authors are employed by the European Union, the copyright notice is: 978-1-7281-1985-4/19/$31.00 ©2019 European Union
- For all other papers the copyright notice is: 978-1-7281-1985-4/19/$31.00 ©2019 IEEE
Provide IEEE Xplore®-compatible PDFs to Conference Operations. IMPORTANT: Any changes made to a PDF after IEEE PDF eXpress Plus conversion or PDF checking may invalidate Xplore compatibility. This includes headers, page numbers, copyright notice, watermarks, etc. If any of these elements are desired, they should be added to the document before a PDF is created.
