Conference Guides for [IEEE-CIS, INNS] conferences : Although this guide was initially set up for IJCNN2019, and was used for IEEE WCCI 2020, hopefully some of the basic information may still help [organising committee members, authors] up to 2023-2025 (assuming a half-life of links and process information of 3-5 years?). The Authors' and Publications menus have been combined, allowing authors to see the Publications Chair perspective as well. I am no longer keeping this up to date. Bill Howell, 11Dec2020

IEEE Conference Application

This is usually prepared by the General Chair(s), but as Publications Chair I did it for IJCNN2019 to speed the processes below up. You must specify the use of IEEE [PDF eXpress Plus, eXplore, CrossCheck] and perhaps a few other details....???? Here is the.

The IJCNN2019 form included contact information for the General Co-Chairs and Publications Chair. Attempts were made to add the [Program, Technical] Co-Chairs and Treasurer, but these additions were not accepted. So make sure that everyone is listed on initial submission.

As can be seen from the email of "Wed, 26 Sep 2018 11:44:30 -0400" below, IJCNN also requires the signature of an Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the INNS and IEEE-CIS. I guess that is sent to the [IEEE-CIS, INNS] Presidents.

Please be advised that this IEEE conference is subject to IEEE technical co-sponsor fees of US$1,000 per event and US$15 for all papers submitted into IEEE Xplore. One or more IEEE sponsors have decided to pass the fee onto the conference, therefore the conference would be responsible to pay a portion of the fees. Please keep this in mind for budgeting purposes. We will proceed with processing this conference application at this time.

IEEE will issue an invoice after the conference has taken place and papers have been received.
