simple help for this webSite
click to goTo a link in the current window
right-click to open link in a new menu - for example, to keep menus in view while reading through a webPage
To find your way around the website :
For recent topics that have caught my attention : see Bill Howell's "Blog" (via the "Blogs" menu item). Be warned : "recent" usually means within the last couple of years, as I don't often update the blog. I focus on mid-to-substantive projects that take time, with a sprinkling of "hey look at this" news items of other peopless' work etc.
- web-search themes that are of interest to you (eg duckduckgo.com, which I use). This is much more efficient than browsing. Besides, the vast majority of my webSite content ISN'T described or linked by my webPages. For example search "www.BillHowell.ca pandemics".
- Use the menus (top of the page - Ctrl-Home key combination to get there). As the menus are being rebuilt (starting slowly, Apr-May2020), they will likely fail from time to time. They also are incomplete, as they do NOT including many subdirectories of this website.
- Use the listing of the sub-directories of this webSite root directory (see the list near the bottom of this webge). This allows you to browse through ALL [files, directories] of this website except the root (which I would like to include some day.
