Almost true tall tales

I've been intending to commit many of these events and situations to paper for a long time - and in fact may have to wait a bit longer to find the time to do this. The general idea is that we all experience situations in life that seem implausible, hilarious, deeply moving, or whatever. Of course, one cannot let the truth hinder the course of an excellent tale, embellishments being the better part of valour.

Here are some tales I will hopefully get down on paper (i.e. my website) before too long:

• Drowning by default - Mount Royal College pool ?December 1978?

• Recreational dive - the crab who picked me out

• Recreational dive - I didn't know people made salads out of lobster
