"Identity Theft" (IDtheft) department :
Cancel my account(s) immediately, any "other" accounts using my [name, [physical, email] address, phone number], as well as anything connected to it!! It has been [own, control]ed by IDtheft hackers since ~11Nov2024, and even if I am no longer being directly charged fraudulently, I get one to three emails each day indicating that hackers may be using someone else's credit cards, together with my [name, phone, email, home address] to fraudulently abuse other individuals and suppliers!! I was not able to find any [link, phone] access to easily contact you, and my last recourse is this registed letter.
Furthermore, equifax has, to me as a non-expert, been "far worse than useless", as I gave up trying to put some form of [stop, freeze, panic button] on my credit. They only serve to lend credibility to "serious IDtheft" criminal fraud of endless lists of suppliers.
Your systems are incapable of handling what I call "serious IDtheft", when the hackers have take total control of someone's [cellPhone, webHost-email]. Your contacts are restricted to account logIns, which obviously doesn't work in cases like mine. I can't believe that you aren't aware of rare cases like this. Whether wittingly or not, as far as I am concerned, you are key tools for modern "online [finance, purchase] network of organised crime", even for cases far less serious cases than mine.
I will NOT be signing onto ANY online [finance, purchase] systems for at least 6 months to a year, and only then if there is proof that I can cancel my account using a fresh NEW [phone number, email address]. I know that presents other challenges to companies such as yours, where hackers can shut down people's accounts arbitrarily. I prefer that to watching helplessly as my [life saving, pension, registered retirement] funds flow out of my bank accounts. I now deal exclusively cash-only with LOCAL bricks&mortar companies. Clearly, travel and many other "normal" activities are problematic. Worse are purchases for computer equipment that simply isn't available locally.
I suspect that Equifax, together with massive fraud detection software by Google and others, might have provided key safety for me, stemming the flow of fraud. I feel that this mostly acted as "after-the-fact" protection after the first week of fraud, but I could be wrong. I any case, follow-up with Equifax was "problematic" to say the least, and I was unable to [lock-out, freeze, stop] ALL credit with your system.
Further (boring) details of my IDtheft will be available at http://www.BillHowell.ca/Personal/241115 IDtheft/Howell IDtheft.html, assuming that I can recover my webSite, and that it is not corrupted.

WARNING : My [email, cellPhone] are by no means secure, and I wonder if they will ever be. Given how [quickly, real-time] my cellPhone was "cloned", I will not buy another, but wm considering cancelling it entirely and doing without a phone within 6 months.
