Introduction

David Talbot, a mythologist inspired by Immanuel Velikovsky, ... He had even given up trying to tie his mythology concepts to physics (apart from help from ?Gedi Ben Low? on the possibility of planetary alignments in orbit) in ?1991?, throwing away much material that he had gather over the decades, and after he wrote the book "The Saturn myth". A few years later, Australian amateur physicist Wal Thornhill came with the idea that plasma physics could substantiate mythology. Given the opening of research labs by Ronald Regan, he was able to sit down with Anthony Peratt, author of a textbook on plasma physics, who was inspired enough to spend about a decade touring petroglyphs around the world that resembled laboratory plasmas (also Part II Directionality and source).

Thunderbolts.info was establish in ?date?, and has been an ongoing community allowing [amateur, scientist]s to find an audience willing to listen to ideas that have long been heretical to the mainstream. [SAFIRE, Kaal's "Structured Atom Model"] are only two of the examples.

Scorpion-like petroglyph that fired up the first Talbot-Peratt meeting within the first 5 minutes!!!
(Talbott gave a funny description of the meeting) :
Fig. 27. (Left) Conceptual geometry and experimental laser shadowgraph of an intense current-conducting toroidal stack. Fig. 28. (Left) Laser back-illuminated plasma pinch. The photograph has been digitally stratified to bring out the curling of the edges of the bottom, flattened toroids. The cathode is at the top. (Right) Sample collection of petroglyphs showing the transition from the ladder phase of the instability to toroid vortices. (Left to right, top to bottom). The examples shown have been collected from several parts of the world
(taken from eixdelmon.com, which in turn comes from Peratt's paper linked above)

Electric Geology FUN [paper, video]s

Thunderbolts.info: 'Electric Geology' FUN [paper, video]s : Wonderful [stories, concepts] about the geology of [Earth, Mars, Moon, etc]. Its the questions and thinking that intrigues and inspures. [right, wrong, true, false] is for another day, perhaps forever.

Of Mythology and Science

I learn things along the way, especially when I have to pull my foot out of my mouth.
