Jupiter’s magnetic field and its tremendous X-ray auroras are considerably more powerful than mainstream astronomical models predict. Attempts to explain the colossal electromagnetic Jovian environment is a poignant symbol of institutionalized science today—a clear case when observational data refuses to fit traditional models.

An example is found on the anomalous, roughly periodic phenomena in Jupiter’s atmosphere. Scientists—focused on an area of Jupiter dubbed the Great Blue Spot—were surprised the jet displayed “wave like fluctuations” that predictably repeated in almost four-year periods.

It's a big problem for standard theory. According to a phys.org report, “...the fluctuations might be related to convection-driven flows from within the metallic hydrogen pool that makes up a part of the planet's inner atmosphere. But such a jet would almost certainly have periodicity in centuries, not years...more data from Juno will better characterize the fluctuations found, perhaps leading to a better understanding of the planet's dynamo.”

Independent researcher Stuart Talbott ponders how such a statement as “better understanding of the planet’s dynamo” can blatantly appear in science media—much less scientific literature—since the magnetic field of any planet powered by an internal dynamo is NOT settled science.

Edwin Kaal presented a new model for the atom based upon the principles of densest packing, balancing of electrostatic forces, symmetry, and the stable geometry of Platonic solids. Using this model, the sacrosanct “strong force” of the modern theory is not required. In addition, neutrons are redefined as a connection between protons and electrons. Thus, atoms in his model are just protons and electrons in electrostatic and geometric equilibrium. Following simple rules and postulations, a structured atomic model emerges. The shapes represent specific attributes of the elements such as the valence value. The model shows how a number of nucleons and the geometric shapes correlate to the elements; why there are forbidden configurations; and how groups in the periodic table naturally arise. Magnetic spheres can be used to mimic the nucleus-specific construction and can be learned by anyone. Importantly, this model does not contradict the evidence in chemistry and physics, but rather provides a new interpretation and a promisingly fresh approach. With this model, Edwin has been able to resolve enigmas in chemistry and make predictions to inform future research.

Is there an Electric Universe perspective on time? Rather than to convince you that time has dimensions, the goal here is to convince you that our ancestors thought so. If you believe an ancient Japanese text which says that a new planet, Venus, entered our solar system, perhaps you will believe an Egyptian text that says time has three dimensions just as space does.

We begin with a four-point analysis and exploration of time gleaned from classical physics: 1) The reality of a “present moment” is on shaky ground; 2) The rate at which time flows is unclear; 3) There are lines of time as well as points of time; 4) Multiple versions of systems can simultaneously exist.

It's also appropriate to acknowledge ancient knowledge that can be derived from the Hermetica—writings from various historical periods, though most ideas have their origins in the very distant past of Egypt tens or hundreds of thousands of years ago.

There is evidence of widespread sedimentary layering along the canyon walls of Mars' Valles Marineris. Where did it come from? It isn't in a basin—in fact its near the top of a bulge over 6 miles above the datum. For sedimentation of this kind to exist, it would have needed to form in a deep basin with tons of rushing water, then get uplifted an incredible 12 miles. On Mars, no less.

Also, there are similar features on Valles Marineris and Earth's Grand Canyon that suggest a common backstory. Both are on high plateaus and are missing all of their excavated material. Their tributaries are deeply incised, short and tend to end in round alcoves—with sharp edges that don't show much erosion in their deep valleys—something that hints at a more recent origination of both canyons.

Would you be surprised if the origin story of the Grand Canyon still confounds the experts?

Problem with the standard theory is that the Colorado River—even before the Glen Canyon dam stemmed its awesome desert floods—was never big enough to explain the size of the Grand Canyon. Also, it flows west out of the Rockies into a raised plateau called the Kaibab Upwarp—but rather than go around, the river cuts right through this plateau. Experts say it slowly cut its way as the land rose around the river, although difficult to comprehend since the plateau existed long before the river.

The Grand Canyon is often compared to Valles Marineris, the gigantic scar across the surface of Mars. The structures are so similar it was originally assumed that this gigantic canyon on the red planet must have been formed by massive water erosion at some earlier, wetter epoch in Martian history—like Earth's Grand Canyon was thought to have formed. An interesting idea, but the missing water erosion and ponding blew that theory out of the water years ago.

Our atmosphere has seven or eight distinct layers before it meets the magnetosphere—which itself has seven or eight layers. The function of these layers complete our connection to the solar wind. Otherwise, it would crash onto the surface of the Earth creating a mix of ceramic and molten glass.
If you believe nothing else in the Universe is alive, or stars are not conceived and born, or Love and Yearning are not powerful forces for galaxies and stars and cells—all based upon precisely zero experimental evidence—it is time to grow up, and admit these are beliefs based upon you know not what.

Other questions are related to (1) EU Marklund convection [planet, star] formation (I forget who proposed this) versus isotope ratios; and (2) NASA’s Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART) kinetic impact with its target asteroid, Dimorphos : was there suffient electric potnetial difference for a flash (sparc)?  Last frames were read (at least partially), but of course something else at impact could have coused that with the esensor (camera) electronics, communications, etc.

NASA Confirms DART Mission Impact Changed Asteroid’s Motion in Space

Analysis of data obtained over the past two weeks by NASA’s Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART) investigation team shows the spacecraft's kinetic impact with its target asteroid, Dimorphos, successfully altered the asteroid’s orbit. This marks humanity’s first time purposely changing the motion of a celestial object and the first full-scale demonstration of asteroid deflection technology.

“All of us have a responsibility to protect our home planet. After all, it’s the only one we have,” said NASA Administrator Bill Nelson. “This mission shows that NASA is trying to be ready for whatever the universe throws at us. NASA has proven we are serious as a defender of the planet. This is a watershed moment for planetary defense and all of humanity, demonstrating commitment from NASA's exceptional team and partners from around the world.”

Prior to DART’s impact, it took Dimorphos 11 hours and 55 minutes to orbit its larger parent asteroid, Didymos. Since DART’s intentional collision with Dimorphos on Sept. 26, astronomers have been using telescopes on Earth to measure how much that time has changed. Now, the investigation team has confirmed the spacecraft’s impact altered Dimorphos’ orbit around Didymos by 32 minutes, shortening the 11 hour and 55-minute orbit to 11 hours and 23 minutes. This measurement has a margin of uncertainty of approximately plus or minus 2 minutes.

Before its encounter, NASA had defined a minimum successful orbit period change of Dimorphos as change of 73 seconds or more. This early data show DART surpassed this minimum benchmark by more than 25 times.  

“This result is one important step toward understanding the full effect of DART’s impact with its target asteroid” said Lori Glaze, director of NASA’s Planetary Science Division at NASA Headquarters in Washington. “As new data come in each day, astronomers will be able to better assess whether, and how, a mission like DART could be used in the future to help protect Earth from a collision with an asteroid if we ever discover one headed our way.”

The investigation team is still acquiring data with ground-based observatories around the world – as well as with radar facilities at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory’s Goldstone planetary radar in California and the National Science Foundation’s Green Bank Observatory in West Virginia. They are updating the period measurement with frequent observations to improve its precision.

Focus now is shifting toward measuring the efficiency of momentum transfer from DART’s roughly 14,000-mile (22,530-kilometer) per hour collision with its target. This includes further analysis of the "ejecta” – the many tons of asteroidal rock displaced and launched into space by the impact. The recoil from this blast of debris substantially enhanced DART’s push against Dimorphos – a little like a jet of air streaming out of a balloon sends the balloon in the opposite direction.

Howell - It will be interesting to see if there is a huge electric dischage pre-impact, as has apparently happened with Jupiter and Comet "Shoemaker-Levy 9" 1994), possibly ESA Rosetta's Philae lander on comet 67 P Churyumov-Gerasimenko (67 P, 12Nov2012), and Deep Impact mission to comet Tempel 1 (Jul2005), during which a 350-kg (770-lb) copper mass impactor hit the asteroid.  Wal Thornhill predicted the Tempel 1 electrical effects 4 years earlier 18Oct2001, and if I am not mistaken, speculated on the Jupiter effects as well.  This all depends on the asteroid-satellite electric charge differential?

Strangely, although Pollack spells out in detail how water (bulk <-> gel) could have been a key part of the genesis of life, he didn't forcefully state it, albeit I may have missed that.  The same applies here.  It would be fascinating to see what Clarage things of photon emissions by cells and the genesis of life, even from just the perspective of a very low density energy storage, but pervasive everywhere sunlight (or other frequencies, but including deep sea black smokers).  That would have been supplanted later by more powerful mechanisms (lie the ATP -ADP cycle mentioned in the video).

I had forgotten this (in particular Cardona's emphasis on brown dwarfs).  I have Dwardu Cardona's huge 5 books (or almost all of them), but only read most of one of them in detail.  These are very tough reads for me - mythology is very complex and blurred, and requires a far better memory than I have.  He thinks (thought - he died 5 or so years ago, I did see him at one of the conferences) radically differently from me, and I appreciate that very much.

Chinese called this chaos "Tao", describing it as having not only been chaotic, but also nebulous in its naturee when it constantly revolved.  To the Yuki Americans it was a distinct something that they likened to and/or foam that went round and round continually.  A similar primordial foggy substance ialso mentioned in oceanic mythology while the Pima compared it to a fluffy bit of cotton that drifted to and fro.  Others compared the material to a stretch of whirling slime or mud, an eddying of waters, awhirling ocean in the sky.

In 1970's David Talbot documented (his book "The Saturn myth") the "Saturn as Earth's past Sun during historical times", first (?) proposed by Oskar Reichenbach in 1884, and picked up by Immanuel Velikovsky in 1971.

Ralph Juergens posited that Earth and the primordian proto-Saturnian stellar host had travelling together outside the demarcation of the solar system before they were captured by our present Sun (known behaviour by stars and brown dwarfs), just before Noah's event.  (Dwardu Cardona suggests that 5,000 years earlier would be better supported by evidence).

Genesis :  This event came to pass when Elohim gave the order to "Let there be light".  (You might have told me ohis, but I forgot.)

Juergens : Saturn might have flared up nova-like... similar theme to Ben Davidson's "micro-nova" which may be due soon (within 30 y? - very tiny timeframe when we are talking about 12 ky).

Talbot and others describe mythological "Ages of Chaos".  I had the impression that these have occurred multiple times, and include the Noah event.  

Note that the Bible is [strong, continual]ly VALIDATED by these mythologists, who point out that it's haar to explain that almost exactly the same myths (different jargon) arose in many societies around the world that never came into contact.  What better independent substantiation for those who don't accept the word of God or the Bible, especially when accompanied by why the mythologists surmised, but took a hundred years or so for science to substantiate parts thereof? For me, this applies to [fundamental theoretical physics, astronomy, geology, biology, history, etc].

Recurring note : in essentially ALL his predictions, Velikovsky was right and essentially all the world's scientists, most especially the "great ones" were embarassingly wrong.  Just the Earth sprouted from Venuin historical times isn't [accept, prove]ed, even by those he inspired.  Who knows, maybe...?

Is any of this true?  To me, nothing is true, and "multiple conflicting hypothesis" ways apply.  Even the "wrongest" concepts may have something to teach us, to keep us awake and thinking.  There are many alternative concepts for each that Cardona speaks of, even from within the Electric Universe (Thunderbolts) group.

At the heart of the Milky Way lies a vast bulge and in its core is an object connected to how the galaxy functions. The Standard Model of Cosmology says it's a massive black hole, although the Electric Universe Model sees it as a plasmoid with intense electric and magnetic fields, compressing filaments of material into the torus and out at the poles.

Surrounding this plasmoid at the galactic core is a 700 light-year section of substantial activity called the Central Molecular Zone, containing dense molecular clouds—normally expected to produce stars, but devoid of any. Filaments within the CMZ move at hundreds of kilometres per second, compared to the previously examined Maggie filament—some 12 kiloparsecs or 39,000 light-years from the CMZ—moving much slower at 54km/s.

The SAFIRE electrical model of the Sun, was successful far beyond the original scope.  It has DESTROYED several concepts in fundamental theoretical [physics, astronomy], and leads to fantatistic future possibilities in science.  How doe relate to quasi-cycles?  The experimental model itself provides a fascinating opportunity to construct a "real-world predictor" if it can go to high enough energy levels (which commercial plans by Aureon Energy will presumably require). After >130 years of counter-proofs to relativity theory, Steve Bryant's work is the first that I've seen that [clear, plausible]y re-derives the ridiculous initial mistakes of Albert Einstein at the most [simple, introductory] level of [math, science].  

For me, after all the diverse analysis that I've gone through,  SR & GR are just as dead as the brains of their promoters.

I never liked [Special, General] Relativity, sensing a rat.  When finally in <2012, after I looked closely at his 1905 Special Relativity paper for the first time, and also found out that both the [relativistic correction factor (?Thomas Barnes? and others), effective mass (Ed Dowdye Jr & others)] could be derived via classical Natural Philosophy (pre-physics), I stated "General Relativity is for turkeys".  Einstein's 1905 SR paper is a shit-show of [sloppy, ill-defined] thinking, as many have pointed out since 1905!  I always thought that this would have been cleaned up later and by other, but apparently not.  I certainly never would have wasted my time trying to clean up the mess, but I've estatic that Steve Bryant did, and he did it far better than I could.  That he had to says everything about ~140 years of modern scien[ce, tists] ("Existential science", in Bill Lucas's words).  

A surprise was that Einstein is to blame, but not entirely.  An original mistake was made in the famous Michaelson-Morely Interferometer paper, and to some degree that affected Einstein (still no excuse!!).  Steve Bryant explains that it's an easy mistake to make (so much for genes!), and she shows quantitively why the [bad, erroneous] concept works so well.  Actually, it's not Einstein's concept that works well, its Lorenz-Poincare relaivity, and perhaps even before them.  To me, most scientists don't seem aware that powerful math can make even shitty theories work, and they seldom seem capable of taking that thought further.

But based on my other work, being sloppy with your [symbols, frames of reference, etc] is far below professional (just stupid, really), not so much for the originators, but for those who should have caught it (eg 140 years of essentially every physics [prof, student]!!).  It's one of my personal limitations, that I struggle with.

My view of Einstein is still overall positive, albeit he is possibly one of the greatest con-scientists of all time.  I say that because character judgements have no place in judging the worth of concepts.  It's hard to take Einstein as innocent given that he never seemed to comment of huge frauds related to his work while he was living.  Some comments during his life : 
	"I wasn't aware of Poincare-Lorentzt the begininning of my work"
	Sir Authur Eddington & one other "No Einstein.  You cannot put the ether back into GR, after you've faught so long to take it out".  So they called it something else.  
	and on, and on, and on...

In another "Connection" (?Richar Burke?) - Immanuel Velikovsky's "World's in Collision" was reportedly on Enstein's bedside table or something when he died.  Velikovsky is kind of like the gother of the Electric Universe community

I've always under-estimated Glenn Borchardt.  He has many wonderful and strange concepts, many of which I see as quite similar to conventional physics or dependent on it.  But I find that he often lacks [specific, substantive] cart [models, math, derivations] to support his ideas.  Mind you, many in the Electric Universe state very clearly and often that they are non-[math, science] types, and yet they regularly show that the power of observation plus thinking can easily beat [models, math, derivations] hands down under the right circumstances.  But I mention him because lightning has struck twice in his case, and there are very few scientists that I can think of for which that applies.

[right, wrong, true, false] are not so important, it's just refreshing to see people [observe, think, analyse].  Andrew Hall also is open to other concepts, euivalent to my self-imposed framework of "multiple conflicting hypothesis".  There is little need to collapse to "a truth", which makes us tools of a theory, rather than the other way around.

Additional note - Ben Davison's Suspicious0bservers videos have be elabing on a theme of "solar micronova" which has apparently inspired many scientific papers since ~?2015?.  Astronomical observations for that keep piling up.

Overview

The strongest jet streams are the polar jets, at 9–12 km (30,000–39,000 ft) above sea level, and the higher altitude and somewhat weaker subtropical jets at 10–16 km (33,000–52,000 ft). The Northern Hemisphere and the Southern Hemisphere each have a polar jet and a subtropical jet. The northern hemisphere polar jet flows over the middle to northern latitudes of North America, Europe, and Asia and their intervening oceans, while the southern hemisphere polar jet mostly circles Antarctica, both all year round.

Jet streams are the product of two factors: the atmospheric heating by solar radiation that produces the large-scale Polar, Ferrel, and Hadley circulation cells, and the action of the Coriolis force acting on those moving masses. The Coriolis force is caused by the planet's rotation on its axis. On other planets, internal heat rather than solar heating drives their jet streams. The Polar jet stream forms near the interface of the Polar and Ferrel circulation cells; the subtropical jet forms near the boundary of the Ferrel and Hadley circulation cells.[2]

Other jet streams also exist. During the Northern Hemisphere summer, easterly jets can form in tropical regions, typically where dry air encounters more humid air at high altitudes. Low-level jets also are typical of various regions such as the central United States. There are also jet streams in the thermosphere.

Meteorologists use the location of some of the jet streams as an aid in weather forecasting. The main commercial relevance of the jet streams is in air travel, as flight time can be dramatically affected by either flying with the flow or against, which results in significant fuel and time cost savings for airlines. Often, the airlines work to fly 'with' the jet stream for this reason. Dynamic North Atlantic Tracks are one example of how airlines and air traffic control work together to accommodate the jet stream and winds aloft that results in the maximum benefit for airlines and other users. Clear-air turbulence, a potential hazard to aircraft passenger safety, is often found in a jet stream's vicinity, but it does not create a substantial alteration on flight times.

More than ten years ago, climate scientist Lorenzo Polvani and his then postdoctoral fellow Seok-woo Son led a study that found the closing of the ozone hole—then underway as a consequence of the 1987 Montreal Protocol—was going to halt the poleward drift of the jet stream in the Southern Hemisphere. But Polvani’s study, published in 2008, was based on predictive modeling, not actual observations.

Now, new research led by his former postdoctoral fellow Antara Banerjee demonstrates that the earlier study’s prediction is actually happening: over the last 20 years, the jet stream in the Southern Hemisphere has indeed stopped drifting poleward. The new study, published March 25 by Nature, originated in Polvani’s lab and was continued by Banerjee, now a CIRES Visiting Fellow in NOAA’s Chemical Sciences Division.

1. Retinotopic mapping -  Waves of "current" play an important role in the proper setup of retinal photo-receptors during the formation of the eye, I think this occursven before seeing things.  Someone's famous experiment decades ago showed that a kitten blindfed for a period of time after birth does not recover full sight as it ages.
2. Bill Lucas's "Universal force" (goes back to classical natural philosophy to develop "er" replacements of General Relativity and Quantum Mechanics) does provide a basis for chirality and radially-symmetric forms, albeit perhaps not of a fractal nature. 
3. Edwin Kaal's substitute for quantum mechanical explanations of [atom, molec] structure is based on quite simple geometrical arguments.  Claims that modern Quantum mechnics now go far beyond Helium atoms I take with a grain of salt, but I have not looked into this (universal function approximators can make bad concepts look really good).  
4. Dietmar Plenz's pleanry talk for IJCNN 25Jul2021 "Self-Organized Criticality in the Brain" does refer to "...   Self-organized criticality (SOC) refers to the ability of complex systems to evolve toward a 2nd-order phase transition at which interactions between system components lead to scale-invariant events that are beneficial for system performance. Over the last two decades, considerable experimental evidence has accumulated that the human brain with its diversity in cell types, interconnectivity, and plasticity might exhibit SOC.   ..."
These are just some last-minute thoughts.  I am sure that the list goes on and on...  [r, wrong, true, false] is not an issue when I really haven't done my homework, and in any case "multiple-conflicti hypothesis" is my preferred habit to keep my thinking open - don't throw ut interesting thinking.

The atomic model has remained unchanged for a long time. Yet, there are mysteries it has been unable to solve such as why certain elements are more stable than others, and predicting how large atoms split. In the Structured Atom Model (SAM) the nucleus is constructed using protons which are bound together with inner electrons in a very specific geometric structure. 
Contributor and EU advocate, Gareth Samuel, host of "See the Pattern”, outlines how spheres being attracted inwards creates stable, and unstable, geometric shapes—and the process by which larger atoms can be created. The SAM concept matches what is observed in nature.

Archaeologist and Thunderbolts colleague Peter Mungo Jupp presents a radical idea that civilization destroying plagues may be governed by electromagnetism such as cosmic rays.  

Nature often uses triggers based on hard to pinpoint factors when losing its newest progeny. For example, we see a rise of inexplicable mice plagues, seasonal infections, aggressive behavior, locust swarms, volcanic activity, earthquakes, and tsunamis.

If nature relies on electromagnetic signals, what happens when these signals become chaotic? Perhaps the devastating Bubonic plague of 1346–1353 (aka The Black Death) illustrates just such a black picture.

Howell -  Thanks for the eyewitness descriptions of the [fire, plasma, storm, flood, earthquake, volcano] occurences during the period of the Bubonic Plague.  I was unaware, and foolishly I probably glossed over those when I read about the bubonic plague in the past.  For perhaps 70 years a few rare modern scientists have as been criticized for pointing out [solar minima, sunspot] etc correlations with [epidemics, pandemics], and ~2006 I collected plots for [influenza, malaria, cholera, bubonic plague].  It looked that the first two big ebola epidemics would also have that signature.  I think more recent analysis has suggested that on the basis of at least one more ebola outbreak, but one probably needs 100+ year data for a serious confirmation.  Solar drive of earthquakes have long been suggested, and Ben Davidson of Suspicious Observers was widely attacked for a co-authored paper that pointed out the [geomagnetic, ionospheric, solar] links to >6 Richter scale earthquakes.  Now all the backstabbers (i.e. essentially ALL [government, academic] scientists) are jumping on board, but they are experts at covering their butts so you don't have to worry about their careers guilded compensation.  By the way, I loved your instant fossilisation series from several years ago.

Cosmology of the Electric Universe, Part 2 – Body of the Galaxy. Previously we looked at how the electrical systems of the Earth and planets exist in the larger electrical body of the Sun. Now we shift up in scale to describe the relationship of each star to the larger Galactic body of which it is a part, like our own Sun which lives inside the Milky Way Galaxy.

In this second of a two-part presentation, Michael Clarage, PhD, Lead Scientist of The SAFIRE Project, proposes that galaxies transform the great currents and fluxes that course through our universe as a whole.

Howell -  Bill Lucas, who has presented at EU conferences, has looked a great deal into some aspects of electrical fields etc and [physiology, health].  He goes back into history on the topic, including a French  military guy (logistics, or doctor or something) during WWII, Anton Prior.  After the war, Prior researched into longitudinal electromagnetic cancer treatments, but I think that was shut down by the medical community.  He has also spoken about "primal force concept" and seniors (Harvard University), but I don't remember much about that.  A key part of Lucas's thinking here is that it tieback to his "Universal Force" concept.

A team of scientists using the ALMA telescope to study the doughnut-shaped cloud of gas and dust at the center of the galaxy NGC 1068 recently made a shocking discovery — two separate disks of gas and dust are rotating in opposite directions. Phys.org reports on the team’s discovery: “Unexpectedly, they found two counter-rotating disks of gas. The inner disk spans 2-4 light-years and follows the rotation of the galaxy, whereas the outer disk (also known as the torus) spans 4-22 light-years and is rotating the opposite way.”

Those who have followed this series might understand the potential significance of this discovery. In 2015, retired professor of electrical engineering Dr. Donald Scott published his mathematical model of the structure of a Birkeland current, which can be identified visually as counterrotating cylindrical shells, and is seen at vastly different scales in the cosmos, from galaxies to planetary aurorae. We asked Dr. Scott for this thoughts on this new discovery.

On Earth, hurricanes and typhoons are called cyclones and occur over the oceans.  The cyclonic storm develops an eye in the center of rotation, where high altitude, dry air is drawn down the center. The thing to know is that the eye of a cyclone is a downdraft wind.

Over land, we see a different effect. Super-cell thunderstorms develop a rotating mesocyclone that rises in a tower and spreads an anvil cloud. The thing to know is that the center of a thunderstorm is an updraft wind.
